Elizabeth Leak is a Director at Fund Services Group where she leads the team within our Outsourced CFO Services area that focuses on tax matters for our clients, such as federal and state tax compliance and comprehending the tax implications and structuring requirements for private fund structures. Her leadership responsibilities include onboarding our new clients, assisting with tax planning and remediation, and supporting strategic initiatives in understanding tax implications of investments and structural decisions.

Prior to joining FSG, Elizabeth spent time in public accounting at Howard, LLP, Weaver, and Ernst and Young, gaining exposure to a wide variety of fund managers and investment vehicles, including domestic and offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. Her industry experience includes time with a $19 billion hedge fund in Dallas where she served as an integral part of the tax team. Elizabeth has extensive experience in both the public and private accounting spaces, with much of her time spent providing tax services to alternative investment managers and their funds.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's in Accounting Information Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. She also attended The University of Texas at Austin. She is a registered CPA in the state of Texas.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling to the beach or mountains, Pilates, and spending time with family.
